I got ahead of myself and started asking questions before I even introduced myself. I apologize. I am on enough forums, mainly Land Rover related, that I should know better. (My second vehicle, which is my weekend toy, is a 97 Land Rover Discovery.)
I recently traded in my 07 Dodge Ram 1500 on a 05 Super Duty F250 XLT. I got a crew cab, short box with the Powerstroke and 71000 miles. So far I love the truck and I'm really glad to be back to driving a diesel pickup. Prior to the 07 Dodge I traded in I had a 01 Dodge 2500 with the Cummins and that really got me addicted to diesels. Of course to really feed my love for diesels I am a truck driver. My work truck is a 2007 Kenworth T800 with a 500hp Cat C13 (twin turbos) backed by a 10-speed tranny.
My brother-in-law also drives a F250 crew cab, short box. His is a 03 XLT Lariat that he bought brand new and has just over 90000 miles and it's still running strong. I have been trying to convince him now that he has it paid off it's time to start tweaking some more power out of the engine.
With 2 Super Duties in the family I will warn you that I will be asking questions about stuff for both trucks. I am slowly learning the differences between the 2.
