Healthy truck OBD questions

I got the CarCode software from Alex Pepper, and the PWM/ISO cable.

My truck is healthy, it does not show any trouble codes.

I was tried to run the glow plug test and cylinder contribution tests but think I am might be doing something wrong- truck dies during the tests.

I would think that these tests don;t change between OBD vendors since the truck/PCM is doing the test and the software is just the interface to the PCM.

So how should one do the glow plug tests, the injector buzz tests, etc..

What EXCTLY is the injector buzz test doing and what is it telling you?

I've got no idea on the glow plug test. The buzz test checks the electrical side of the injector. No buzz, bad injector or wiring problem. You can also listen to the sound for a difference, as in one that is weak.
