I drove my '02 F250 for the first time in a few weeks and after driving my '06 F150, I noticed my headlights on my F250 suck bad and couldn't see anything. I have somewhat noticed before but thought it was normal but I really can see much and didn't see much. What are some good upgrade options? New bulbs? New headlights? How hard are they to change?

Easiest and cheapest fix is the Gos Upgrade Harness and Silverstar Headlight Bulbs. You can get the bulbs at Walmart or any auto parts store. They work well together. I had just the silverstars on my truck for 2 years before I changed to the 2006 front end and headlights. I really liked them and never had a problem. With the upgrade harness, they will be brighter than mine were.

I have the Gos Conversion harness on mine now with the "9008" Silverstars and really like the lights now.

Passenger side bulb is easy to change out, the drivers side is a little more challenging to get to. Just make sure you use gloves so as to not touch the new bulb glass.

Hope it helps.

Re the Silverstars, emailed Slyvania regarding their 9008 Ultras, their response:

Unfortunately, part H13 is not yet available in our SilverStar Ultra
product line. This part will eventually be offered in a SilverStar
Ultra upgrade; it is expected to be released by fall of 2007. The
highest upgrade that we currently offer for this part is in the
"regular" SilverStar product line. The SilverStar upgrade is part H13ST,
which has just recently been launched and so far this part has
only been sold to the following retail stores:

Advance Auto Parts
AutoZone
GI Joe's
O'Reilly Auto Parts

We have only recently begun shipping this part to these retail stores'
warehouses so it could be another month or two before the product makes
its way from their warehouses to their stores and then out onto the
store shelves. I believe Advance Auto Parts is selling part H13ST online
through their website: www.partsamerica.com. We are currently running
a mail in rebate promotion that offers customers a $5 rebate check with
the purchase of a pair of SilverStars. I have attached the rebate form
to this email for your convenience. Please do not hesitate to contact
me directly if you have any other questions or require further
assistance.

Pepboys has a coupon selling other ST's for $29.99 but don't have the 9008st's
