Heading to the Castle Rock Fire!

We have had crews at Ketchum since Sunday and rotating people back and forth. (Pagers and radios were going nuts since 1:15 am, Sunday morning asking for any fire district to send help if available). Now it's my turn. Will be leaving this afternoon. Weather is predicting a cold front moving in with gusty winds that could push it closer to residences. Parents have a condo there and I grew up skiing/boarding on Baldy. Gotta help protect my Mountain.

FWIW:

The 18,015 acre Castle Rock fire is now 11 percent contained. Resources fighting this fire include 1,250 firefighters, 7 helicopters and 73 engines.

Be careful man! I hate wild land fire stuff. Luckily we don't get much at all. Sturctural Fire Fighting is FUN though.
