ok well dad has a superchip, 4 in cat back, 3 to 4 in down pipe, air intake. will a wastegate help his performance that much. wanna get him some thing for his truck but dont want to spend say over 150. any ideas would be great but i just wanted to see if it would be a worth while mod.

yea he has the exhaust but it sounds a lot like stock so what can i do to fix that?

I would first recomend to buy him gauges

Most kits with 3 gauges range about $300 bottom end, but how you fix that is buy the 3 gauge piller for around $50-60 and one or two gauges to get you to your limit. then he can't install until he gets the other gauge(s) or it will look stupid. it doesn't matter that you buy all of it, because your his son and he will know you did what you could. From reading your list of mod's to his truck this is what he is missing. If you forgot to mention he has it then a good "bighead" wastegate actuator will improve his boost levels for around $185

yea he has guages. he just got a tranny cooler and i know on the highway i can pull like 24 PSI out of the truck. will the waste gate hlp much. will he feel it?
