Well is was nice to have Friday off got a bunch of running around done dropped my truck off at Ford so they could replace the CPS for the recall.
Ford called said that the truck was done so later in the day I picked the truck up and started heading to the house with the wife following in her truck.
Driving down back roads to get home because the freeway was stopped due to an accident I noticed all of a sudden the ABS light came on, thought this was werid because I had just replaced the sensor in the rear and turned the light off.
Rolled the window down and could hear a metal squeeling/grinding noise. Pulled off the side of the road started looking things off. Could see a light smoke trail coming from the front drivers side tire.
Luckly I was about .5 miles from a buddies shop. Told wife I was going there and I would see here at home. Drove to buddies shop and as I pulled into the parking lot I had to give it alittle more throttle because the wheel was starting to lock up.
Got it on a jackstand and removed the whole front hub and it was completely locked up. So replaced hub and ABS sensor last night. We are all good now. Going to pull the pass side apart and grease that up really good and make sure things are alright on that side.
