I have a 6.0 cooler on the way, and I have not decided how I want to plumb it. Since the trans has a fluid bypass that allows the fluid to warm before it gets sent out to the cooler I am considering eliminating the OTW cooler. I just do not see how trans fluid can be cooled below 180* when it has to go through 203* coolant. My question is: When looking at the OTA cooler from the top, which line is the return and which is the supply?

If you have an opinion on whether the OTW cooler should be kept, or bypassed, I would like to hear it, and why you think this way. I appreciate your thoughts!

Tha cooler for the trans is at the bottom of the radiator where the coolant has already been through the rad and thus cooler than the thermostat, a lot cooler.
