Question Generator?

Is there some sort of generator that can be installed to run the electricals of the car without having to actually turn the truck on. Such as using the a/c, and radio without turning on the truck? Im in school and I commute about 40 min so when I have 3 hrs between classes I like to stay in the car sleeping but damn having the truck on all the time is really dropping the fuel gauge.
