Are there preferred arrangements for A-pillar and overhead gauges?
For example, on the A-pillar with boost, egt and tranny temp, from bottom to top or vice versa, or some other order? What do you all use and like? I am sure there are lots of opinions; I'd like to know the reasons why they are placed in the order they are placed!

Thanks!;tu

RSG- I ordered mine so the ones I want to check at the most are in my direct line of sight- EGT and Trans temp are in the middle. coolant temp and boost are the ones at the top and bottom - I have to refocus on them to read them. dp

I have mine set up like this:
vbpgimage.php

From top down:
Fuel Pressure: Monitor fuel pump performance.

Vacume: My BD exhaust brake has a high output vacume pump in place of tiny OEM pump. Gauge and red LED help me monitor for proper system operation.

EGT: Measures exhaust temps pre-turbo, probe is in driver side exhaust manifold.

Boost: I forget what it's for, but it sure is fun making it move when I put my right foot down. :D:D

I also have a trans temp mounted in-dash to the right of the steering column.

I put mine in the following order: trans temp on top, EGT in the middle and boost on the bottom. My reasoning was the EGT and trans temp are in my line of sight and the most important. I watch the boost gauge (and EGT) sometimes when I stomp the loud pedal.
