Hello,
Hope this is important enough to be here.
I'm taking out the rear tank on my 97 Powerstroke. I've got the "plates" that hold it in off, its cockeyed/hanging down some. I cannot for the life of me get the connections off that connect the fuel supply/return lines to the tank. How do they come off? I would just cut the fuel supply and return lines and butt them together as I will be putting a bigger tank in that also uses the spare tire place, but they are the metal braided lines.
Thanks.

I'm not to savvy on the OBS truck fuel lines but if they look like the one in the pic below you'll need the little blue plastic tool that's to the left of the line. It's an A/C-Fuel line removal tool available at your parts store in sets. Just push the tool into the line and pull the line off.

If it's not like the pic, sorry I couldn't help.
