Can anyone tell me the micron rating of our OSB truck's fuel filter?

I have found a site on the internet that deals in filters and I think I found a RAYCOR replacement for our trucks. Trouble is, they come in 3 mciron ratings.
30 micron
10 micron
and
2 micron

I'm pretty sure its not 30 microns, and am leaning towards it being the 10 microns.
But am wondering what the ramifications of using the 2 micron?

Anybody got any coments / ideas??

By the way, these Raycor filters are 18.60 each.
I have found fuel filters on ebay for about 10 bucks each, but I'm just not sure of their quality...

Thanks

Racor INF4595 OEM fuel filters are rated at 10 microns. That's all I use. No exceptions!

Wix, Hasting and Baldwin are knock off brands that make it to ebay. User beware! Filters are after all, the only protection before your injectors.

I looked at the bottom of THIS page of the PowerStrokeShop.com web site and found a reference to the Racor equivalent "R45P"
I then googled for R45P and found THIS web site of marinefilters.com. Here is where I found the three different micron ratings for the filter:
R45S - 2 micron
R45T - 10 micron
R45P - 30 micron

Does anyone know if these filters will fit correctly in our trucks?
I was thinking of trying the 2 micron filter, if you guys think I'm not off my rocker...

Thanks,

You could try a 2 micron, but if your fuel supply is the least bit dirty I bet it will stop up before long, I don't think anything 10 microns or smaller would hurt our injectors, could be wrong though, I'm no metallurgist.
