Well.........the fuel filter drain valve orings that I replaced 2-1/2 years and 65,000 ago started leaking again.

No big suprise..........they were cheep buna N's from a plumbing supply store.

New ones I got are viton and should last for a long time.

Valve cleaned up and fresh white grease added to hold new orings.

.50 cents later and the valve is sealing like a charm..........

Hear are a few other pics I took while I had things apart. Replaced the alternator which I suspect had a sticking voltage regulator. New no charge Vatozone life time warranty replacement.

Also removed and inspected the ICP which is leaking internally. Got a new one ordered.........thanks Bill!!!

TBar,

Do you have any leftover orings that you want to sell.

Or, where did you buy them withuout having to buy $50 worth??

The fuel line that comes out of filter right by the valve in that pic. Does that go down the side of the motor and have no ending on it for a drain? I have a massive leak right now and it is dripping slowly from top side by valve and it is pouring from the end of that line on pass. side. I wiggled it and it was tight but it is not connectec to anyhting.
