Fuel additives

With this new fuel comming out should there be a additive to start using. I dont think my fuel will ever gel here in south georgia/north florida. The worst that could happen is that it sets for about 6 months while Im out to sea.

If its going to sit for 6 months with fuel in it you might consider an algacide to keep critters from growing in the tank.

Good idea on the algacide....

I run Stanadyne Performance formula...helps mileage a touch (1.5 - 2 mpg depending on how I drive) and its peace of mind that maybe i'm helping the motor last longer...

I'll second Stanadyne Performance Formula for lubricity and to lower the gel point.

A great algaecide is Killem. It's hard to find. Go to the service rep page and call the nearest rep. He'll know where you can order it.
