I've never heard of that particular filter system, but bypass systems are fairly common place in diesel engines. They work. I see that the FS2500 is a drop in element and not a spin on filter. Thier data says its good down to 2.7 microns which is good.

I have not heard from anyone using it but it lookks like a nice setup. I use an Oilguard bypass. I extended my change from 3k to 5k. I am sure I could go further but I do not want to.

I researched this earlier this year and have decided there is nothing justifying the higher price of the FS over the Oilguard.

And the Oilguard?

edit: nevermind...... 200 or so. Why not build your own?

I think you would have over $100 in parts and a bunch of time invested, not worth it to me. I made my own in-tank mod and came out even but wasted a ton of time. Now I can do them for about $5 but I only needed one.
