Front End Question

I have been noticing a edger ride lately in the front. I had used the four wheel drive recently to pull bushes and it started after. I checked the shafts and did find that one did not unlock. Got it to but the ride is still the same.

Question...

When you spin the front drive shaft, should it also spin one, if not both, of the axle shafts? When I turn the front shaft, it turns the driver side, and if I spin quickly, the passenger side too.

I can turn either of the front shafts without difficulty.

Ball joint were replaced two years ago.

Anything else I should look at?

Sounds like both of your hubs are working correctly.

think of an old one-sie tracker rear differantial... with the hubs unlocked, the front one works the same way...
