Front Bench to Buckets and Console Switch

Hey all, got to thinking today how much I would prefer to have the front bucket and console set-up instead of my 40-20-40 bench with fold down console. Has anyone done a bench seat to factory bucket conversion and is it possible? My truck is a 06 F-350 SRW PSD Crew Cab FX4 Lariat SWB tan leather interior. If this conversion is possible does anyone know where to find the front buckets and console, other then buying them from the dealership?

Thats a great idea... I think the split bench is kinda uncomfortable. Ill be watching this thread for some ideas.

the best place and cheapest place is on the forums or on ebay. If you didnt want the armrests then you'd only have to buy the center console that goes on the floor and put it in. I'm pretty sure the buckets have the bolt hole for the armrest. Then you just need to cut a hole in the side of yer seats and bolt in the armrest.

It is possible to switch-a-roo.

All the mouting holes should be the same.

I'm looking to keep my seats, but ditch the 20 section of the 40-20-40 and replace it with the new 2008 center console.

Yes they will. I have seen pics on ebay from
a seller before. Its looks real good to.

Just be careful when bidding on one. Some sellers start them out
real low and then some are just crazy high, but all in all they are
sold cheaper than you can order them from Ford.

Most I have seen are the black/tan combo on ebay.

That's a good question, it maybe possible. Someone at Ford maybe able to tell you.

The 2008 console sits up pretty high, you could just use the lid for your armrest.
