Just joined the forum because I'm narrowing my search for a family hauler/trailer puller and I want to do some research on the Ford diesels.
We currently own an 03 4Runner which is an awesome truck but we are looking to reduce some dept by selling and replacing it with something less expensive. We would also like to by an older travel trailer to take our kids camping with it in the summers. We would be looking at probably a 99 or 00 F250, crew or super cab.
I'll have to start posting some questions in specific forums but to start things off I'm most curious in seating capcity especially concerning car seats. We have a 4yr old and a 2 yr old. Next fall my wife will be car pooling and taking one other child to school. So basically the truck would need to seat my wife and 3 kids for this operation.(She refuses to get a mini van) I know the Excursion would be the machine but I'd really like a pick up, pref. the super cab as it will see some minor off roading.
