Ran over something on the way into work this morning and cut the inside wall of a brand new tire!!!

Naturally no Discount tire store in the WHOLE city of Dallas has even one Goodyear Wrangler ATS 285x75xR16 tire in stock.........WTF!!!

Well my luck got even worse today. Discount tire ordered a tire for me but when it came in it was the wrong size.

I said that is just typical. Ended up putting the spare on the lariat wheel and barrowing a spare until the correct size comes in.

I had the day off so I just went and hid out at the movies. I saw Kingdom of Heaven, very good movie, and the new Jet Li movie Unleashed, lots of azz kickin, pretty fun movie. I thought about staying home all day but decided to live dangerous and go outside. Not that I'm superstitous or anything

What started for me at 2:45pm as an easy day with only a couple 5 minutes "fixes" to do has turned into an absolute cluster-**** including but not limited to broken conveyor belts, stripped keyways, broken chains, broken shafts, a tipped-over 15,000lb forklift, and a high pressure metal halide light bulb that blew up & started a fire... -mad

This is the first chance I've had to stop moving since I got here....nice to have 'net access in the maintenance shop.

I was running a delivery in my own car for the boss. My passenger side front door window imploded at 70 mph on the e-way. Talk about a brown spot on the front seat. There was glass everywhere. It sounded like a 12ga in my right ear. :ZigBang:
