My BIL's sister and husband are season ticket holders at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, AL. They had some extra tickets and invited my 9yo son, 14yo niece, and myself to the game today. It was a good day, but would have been better if AL won. They played sorry and lost to Louisiana-Monroe by 7.

But all in all, we had a good time. Here are some pics I took today inside the stadium, which seats 92,138 people. Our seats are in the West side upper deck, row 15, seats 1-4.

Before every game, an American Hero is honored that served in the military.
This gentleman began his service at the age of 13 (lied about his age) and was the 2nd youngest receipiant of the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Needless to say, he got a standing ovation.

Bama, sorry to heard the the Tide lost. However, they lost a good school. They used to be known as Northeast Louisiana University before the state merged them into a system with the University of Southeastern Louisiana (now know as Louisiana-Lafayette). "Northeast" is probably what all the locals will still call the school. Their mascot for many many years was "Indians" until the "politically correct" crowd finally got their way and the school had to change their mascot to "Warhawks". The Tide isn't doing too well against Louisiana schools, because they also lost to the number one team in the nation, LSU. Oh well, they'll be back!!!

Glad you had a great time at the game.

They have college football in Alabama still? I thought they gave up when Papa Bear left.

Nope, we are still trying regain that awesomeness that we once had. There have been some bright spots since those days (i.e. 1992 National Champions) but the consistancey is not there.

We have a good year and then 2 or 3 so so years.

And we have been thur way to many coaches.

Hopefully Saban will bring the greatness back in a few more years with some good recruiting.

And I will always bleed Crimson :thumbs

Tides?.. oh, you mean football..

Spent a summer in Columbus working on a Bank 1 project.. my local contact was near retirement and had a near retirement girl friend that he complained about constantly.. so we out of towners asked him why he didn't dump her if she was so bad?.. answer was that she worked at OSU and had Buckeye's tickets.. he would never leave her..

Glad ya had a good time..

Did an Army-Navy game a few years back, great fun..
