Freakin Weird!!

I have been having trouble with what I believe is my VSM. Well, driving home today, my wife opened the vanity mirror and the radio and power windows shut off. When she closed the mirror, everything came back on.

I told her to do it again and the same thing happened except that when she closed it for the second time, everything stayed off. A few miles down the road, everything came back on again just like it normally does.

I was looking through my manual and noticed that fuse #102 is a door lock/body security module fuse. Is there any way that this fuse may be the culprit? I'm going to check it in the morning to see of it's loose. #19 also includes the body security module.

Maybe relay # 306, the delayed accessory relay?

What the heck is going on here? I feel like my truck is possessed.

there is a main harness ground behind the center of the dash..
I'm bettin' that's loose.

Well, I checked the fuses and they were fine. I pulled the dash apart and got my hand on the VSM. I pushed hard on the connectors to make sure they were all the way in. I then fired up the truck and opened the vanity mirror. Nothing shut off and the lights on the mirror came on.

Time will tell if it was a loose connection or if I have other problems.
