Ok so I found it!

Its the dang door! If I apply pressure to the back door I dont get that D@mn knock sound any more.

SO My question is how do I pull of the interior of the back door?? Extend Cab FWIW

Scar13... I have a Word file with pictures for removing the door panel posted by another member. Send a pm and I'll email it to you. The file size is over the limit to add as an attachment to this reply.

yeah SD, im currently looking for it too!

If I find it Ill le you knowASAP!

Before you do the Door Panel Removal deal.... You might wana try this:

Go to Home Depot and get some 3/8 vinyle tubeing, pull yer weather strip/seals off, lube up the tubeing with liquid soap and incert it in the "Void" part of the weather strip.

Filling the void, takes up the slack.... Doors Don't rattle, Quieter inside... very little road noise.

:dunno

Stick a Fish tape thru the weather stripping and >Pull< the Backer Rod or Tubeing thru..... Use a little soapy water.

Works great !!

It's best if you take the stripping OFF the truck... It just pulls off. Lay it out strait.... Easier if you have someone to help hold things.

My driver's side rear door is the worst culprit. It's visibly out of adjustment and needs snugging in (really loud thump sound). I haven't studied on how to adjust it because I'm having waaaay too much fun just taking care of the serious maintenance details while driving it....used to be you could just loosen either the striker or the latch and relocate them.

The rest of the doors are properly aligned with the body, and the driver's door has two rattles....one heavy internal thumping one, and the other is the approx 1" diameter rubber snubber thingie that's supposed to contact the doorpost between the front and rear doors. It's loose and just wobbles around.
