SDD Wannabe Mod #2
Hey guys, I thought you may find this interesting. Today at work we were putting a new zf5 in a friend of mine's truck and I noticed that it had a PTO cover on the passenger side of the transfer case. I don't know if any of you guys have run across this before, but it was a Borg-Warner T-case, with a fixed output yoke. I was wondering if you guys could tell me why my buddies truck has this option and say, my truck doesn't? Here are some of the truck's specs.
1996(Produced Jan. 97) F350 Reg. cab Dually w/flatbed(possible lengthined frame?)
4x4 XL group(carpet though) ZF5 5-speed
Oh and of course a PSD!
Over on TDS a few weeks ago a guy was telling me that they didn't offer a T-case PTO on OBS trucks after I mentioned that I was pretty sure I had seen one (my buddies truck), guess I can put up a post saying that Ford did!
