anyone hear about the new ford and international blunder? in the new diesel power magazine they had and article which said that ford and international are having this big deal over who should pay for warranty costs:eek: . needless to say in '09 their new diesels will more than likely be sporting the great blue oval on the valve covers.:sly . just thought that was a rather interesting article

not to rain on your parade, but that is old news. and now they have come to some type of temporary terms on how to settle things. could have been worse hopefully to get better...

I think things have temporarily settled down. The best thing to do is to form a separate engine company (like when Detroit Diesel was part of GM) as a joint venture and let it supply engines to both companies.

you've been out to quitman again haven't you :D :D :D

Robert if you saw where I grew up in Louisiana (my mother still lives in the house), you'd think Quitman was in the "big city". When my dad built the house in 1957, he cleared just enough of the timber to build a 20' by 20' house. He added a few more rooms to the house in later years, but never had a mortgage on it. And yes, we did listen to the Grand Ole Opry on WSM on Saturday nights. :D
