Howdy All,
Took the fan and clutch of last night. Today driving around Dallas at 103 degrees, no overheating problems, stayed where it normally read with fan. I was in stop and go traffic not running down the freeway. The truck seemed to accelerate better, is this just my imagination or does the removal have something to do with it? Waiting to see how this affect it has on mpg. Anyways, just throwing this out there for those of you who have thought about going without a fan. Will post any new developements.

You are braver than I am. I don't trust the factory gauge............be careful!!!

Regarding better acceleration the fan does draw some hp.
