Attached are a couple of pictures I took of the experimental "antenna" I was using Sunday evening.............ie a 100' parking lot light pole. Essentially I had a 100' whip on the back of the truck. lol
I am using an Icom 706MKIIG radio through a AH-4 antenna coupler. I connected the whip to the light pole and made contact with the following stations............
K8HLM Lookups: 1884
Huron Lightship Museum Amateur Radio Club
1613 Hazelwood Ln
Port Huron MI 48060
USA
W4NH Lookups: 2645
Fourlanders Contest Team, Inc.
10945 STATE BRIDGE RD, PMB 334 SUITE 401
ALPHARETTA GA 30022
USA
F5PFP Lookups: 3828
Escoffier Mehdi
23 rue du Colombier
Heyrieux 38540
FRANCE
Couldn't stay long because mall security was giving me the eye........lol.
