To get my F250 in the garage along with the wife's explorer, I have to fold the mirrors in. My old f250 did not have the electric mirrors and I did it everyday by hand. I worry about using the electric mirrors everyday.
1. Am I worried about anything or should I just do it ?
2. Is there any harm in doing it by hand? (as in reaching out the window and grabbing the mirror and pulling it in)

Thanks

The electric mirrors don't fold using an electric motor. You MUST use hand power to fold them. Just do it.

I assume you are referring to the power folding mirrors on the 2008's and newer?

If so, I use mine everyday...sometimes more than once and have had no issues

On edit...ive folded them by hand, but why do that when you've got power?
