I have a late '99 F250 SD that didn't come with fog lights and I would like to add them. Can I retrofit Ford fog lights to this truck or do I have to go with aftermarket lights? I can run the wiring but I really wanted to add the lights I see on the later year trucks. Anybody know what might fit? Thanks.

i like my ipf's (see photos in this LINK)

i think theyre 960's (model)...all alum. housing (no rust),
come in black (the paint is holding up perfect) or alum.
colored.

and they have a glass lens...NO PLASTIC either in the mount,
housing or lens ! ive had these lights on 2 trucks, thru several
winters (when i lived in virginia) where they salt & sand the road.

ive probably had 'em mounted to the front of two different trucks
more than 5yrs....ive never even had to replace a bulb !

Yes I put the factory lights on my 2000 XLT that didn't come with them. You'll need to buy the connectors from an autoparts store, and install a relay to run them. You can have them on a switch if you like, I just wired mine to be on when the headlights are on.
