The oil change went without a hitch............no spills which is unusal for me.

With that done I used my Coolant Flushing Tee to purge the sysem while I Increased the RPM with my $7.00 Poor Mans AIC. :D

When that was done I decided to fix the Leaking Flange on the bottom of the water pump. Bolts were still extremely tight but nothing some WD40 and a 2' piece of pipe wouldn't take care of.

Once I got the Elbow loose I found the source of the leak. The Oring was hard and Brittle.

I purchased a New Oring that fits This Groove on the bottom of the water pump.

Next I put a new Filter on the Coolant Filter Head and refilled the radiator with New Coolant.

Thought I was going to get to take a nap but the wife drug me out to shop for some new furniture. :(

Oh and Bryan...........while this was a bigger PIA then your baby sitting job I would take it any day over changing dirty dippers. :roflmao

Love that AIC. :roflmao :D  :lmao
BCP/SEIC :hail :hail :D

BCP/SEIC
Battery charge protection = ramps up to 1200 rpm and monitrs electrical loads and varies rpm to maintain battery state of charge
Stationary engine idle control= 1200 rpm base, can be varied with a resistor or variable ressitor.
05/05 had all the aic functions built in to the ecm/pcm so we just add switches
thanks T-bar for reminding me:D :sweet

so our aic costs less than 2 buckaroos :D

Us guys with the older trucks have to improvise. There are the homemade AICs with the pots and switches, there is the Ford APCM, and there's the TBAR!!! :roflmao:

Sure wish we had the built in SEIC like you do on the 05/06 trucks... with upfitters, too!
