Flu is getting worse.

It has been 19 days since we contracted the flu. I am and have been for a week at 95% during the day and 90% in the evening...The wife on the other hand has been getting worse and worse. I took her to the doctor yesterday and they said that if she does not show improvement in the next two days, she has go to the hospital.
Main reason I am telling you all this, is to warn you of the seriousness of this strain of flu, and suggest that you all wash your hands often to keep the germs at bay. You do not want you or your love ones getting this.

i feel for ya. my son had the pukes for about 5 hours 1 day and that was it. so far we have been lucky. and i don't want it....

guess i will deal w/ the extremely dry hands....

Not to scare you, but a gentleman in his 50's here locally just passed away due to complications related to this flu strain going around.

Hope you guys get better soon! I have never adjusted my life for a sickness until this year. In January I was taken out of commision by the flu. For 5 days there was nothing I could do to eliminate a fever of 102+. So, whatever is going around this year is brutal.

She is on four different medications now. We go back to the doctor tomorrow to see if she is getting better. If she is not, she goes to the hospital. She is 65, and for the very young and the very old, it is more difficult for the immune system to fight off viruses.

Of course, you never heard it from me that I called my young wife old.

Couple years back I had the flu coincide with pneumonia where I spent I swear a whole week driving the porcelain steering wheel,it was not a fun time

Mrs TG is a night nursing supervisor at the local state run veterans home.

Since this latest strain of flu hit, they have lost 10 elderly veterans who succumed to the flu. That is about 5% of the total number of residents living there. So yes, this latest strain of flu is nothing to take any chances with.
