Fishing in Cancun

Anyone know any good contacts for light tackle (spinning rod) fishing in Cancun, Mexico?

The wife and I are going to be heading back down there for our third trip and the last two times I have went down there I have taken fishing charters, but they have been awful! The guides spent more time drinking beer than guiding me on fish!! I want to spend some good money and take good trip this time. I would like to do a light tackle trip though instead of deep sea fishing.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Try tarponcanun.com, they have a lot of selections for fly, spinning, and deep sea fishing. I was planning a trip there but some problems ended up arising(not with the charter, personal). Whatever charter or guide you choose you must do some tarpon fishing on light tackle. Hope you have a great time on your trip, lucky.
