Took a 1000 mile road trip this weekend and all I can say is WOW. Truck drove the best it has ever driven. Spent the entire time in 80 Econo and my mpgs were at record levels. At a constant 65 mph with the tach at 2000 rpms I got 20.2 mpgs over the entire trip. Previously at 65 mph I'd get 17 mpgs on a good day. Don't know how much can be attributed to the chip because my tranny is newly rebuilt, has fresh Redline ATF, driveline was balanced, new u-joints, fresh Redline in the rear diff and my camper shell was on (for better wind flow? :D ). Highest pyro reading was 1100* going over the Grapevine at 70 mph when the tranny hit 160*, but ran at 600* and 149* on level ground. Wasn't pulling a trailer but had about 1000 lbs in the bed. 95_stroker, still waiting for hot weather for my zoo dad EGT test, but I did have it hooked up for this trip. Everything ran cool.

Man that sounds good, Sounds like you may be a happy camper. You do any better than that and you will be making fuel. Don't we wish!:sweet :sweet

Might be time for me to get mine re-burnt. I can't get 20.2 going downhill and at todays fuel prices mileage is getting to where it matters. I didn't use to care less about mpg but at 2.50 a gallon I am starting too. Sounds like you got the right setup :sweet
