Few items I need help with

1.) On my 2000 F-250, the lower part of the bumper (the plastic, not the steel chrome part) is faded. What color is that normally? Does anyone have pics to send. My front bumper is chrome, my truck is white/tan two tone.

2.) Does anyone know the strut pressures for the hood struts? Both of mine are very weak, and I almost got hit with the hood when the struts failed.

3.) My brother's 2001 F-250 is missing the spare tire lock (or key) for his truck. Does anyone know where to get one for his truck?

the valance i think is suppoped to be that graphite grey color.

strus- you should be able to cross ref the numbers. i have never had good luck doing it by pressure only.

spare tire lock- did you look in the glove box? suprisingly, mine was hiding in the there.

Thanks for the info, I figured it would be some color of grey. It is very faded right now. The strut's p/n's have worn completely off. The spare tire lock for my truck is in my glove box. But the truck my brother just bought is missing it (not in glove box). Again, thanks for the info.

Items

Bring the VIN to the dealer and they can look up the right spare tire lock key, it might cost you but it's better than cutting the cable and having to replace the whole assembly after. As for the hood struts, any local parts store can look up and probably stock the right ones for your truck, good luck.
