Feeling good

Three weeks ago today, I had the hip resurfacing. Wow what a difference.
NO PAIN

Today I am hobbling, without the cane... big improvement from first hip replacement.

Anyone that knows someone that needs a hip replacement needs to check into the hip resurfacing.
Watch out,,, in another week or so, I will be able to run some of you whipper-snappers down.

this resurfacing sounds different, do they do a plasma spray like we used to do bearings?????

My Dad had that Hip Replacement done, he's glad he did it cuz he's back to RV'n. You will be too.. real soon.

We're headed up to Oregon to see him in a week. He is gona stay at the RV park with us, in his Rig.. 84 years old and can still out do me and my Bro on alot of things.

Yes it would probably be a good idea to install a couple of zerk fittings and keep these old hips lubricated. Plasma spray might be a good idea also.
Big Joe, we are about five miles off I5 just south of Redding, so if you want to stop and have coffee or lunch at a restaurant in Redding on your way up to Oregon, give me a call and I can hobble over and visit you for a couple of minutes. I can not drive yet, but the wife can.
If all goes well, we will be hitting the road with the rv in November. It is going to be a chore to put the stock tires back on the PSD.
