Earlier, I was reading where GM and Ford are making tons of money in the South American market - they can't expand their facilities fast enough. So I got on Ford's Brazilian website: https://www.ford.com.br/Default.asp#inicio and looked their vehicle, and found that the Brazilian F250 comes with a Cummins engine. WHen you go to the site, click on Pickups, and the Courier, Ranger, and F250 will come up. Then click on F250 (and allow popups) and you'll see the truck then click on Performance to see a picture then on to "Dados Do Veiculo" then "Motor" to get information. Of course, I don't habla espanol too well, but it appears to be a smaller engine than the 5.9 that Dodge has used.
Here are the details:
Cilindrada 3920cm3
Potência 203cv @ 2900rpm
Torque 56 kgfm (500Nm) @ 1.500rpm
Injeção Eletrônica
Alimentação Common Rail
Seems to me that if Ford can put a Cummins in a Brazilian 250, they should be able to put one in a US 250. JMHO.
