I was wondering if anyone could tell me if Head studs are the "Real deal" as far as curing blown headgaskets, or has anyone still stretched them? The reason i ask is because I *may* have an opportunity to have then installed at cost sometime in the next few months. I don't really need them now, but in the future when the truck is paid off and out of warranty I think i will want to tweek her a little bit. Also if i do have them done, does there become a next "weakest link", when combined with a tuner (assuming i have intake, guages, exhaust)?

Ive read at least one owner that STILL had head gasket issues after
he installed new studs.

Good evening all

I have a 2006 F250 FX4 Auto with 14K miles on her

Would it be beneficial for me to visit my local Dealer and respectfully request due to past failures to have mime replaced ?

Or was this just an 04 / 05 model year problem ?

Your thoughts / guidance is most appreciated

John from Colfax NC
