exhaust kits?

is there any places on the internet for a exhaust kit with 3" down pipes and 4" straight... i called a place here in vegas and asked to have one made for me and they want way to much i have seen some on the internet for around 350 or so from turbo back i just dont know what ones would be a good choice for my truck.

Best bet for the downpipe would be DPP They also offer a 4" turbo back stainless steel system but it is a bit pricey. What kind of upgrades do you plan in the future? A new down pipe and muffler delete will do the job on most trucks.

well right now my plans are to get a tymar intake and some sort of exhaust system so i can run my edge programmer

are you saying to get a downpipe and just leave my stock exhaust on but get a mufler delete pipe?

Yeper.. Downpipe, Muffler delete and a "test" pipe in place of the cat for when you are off road

You don't have to go with the stainless downpipe, they also have a regular one for a little less.

That muffler delete is for a 99-06 MBRP system. You just need a chunk of pipe to weld in place of the muffler. Check your local exhaust shop..

hmm i didnt notice that i posted the one for 99-06 but i did call performance mufler here in vegas just a little while ago and asked about a complete system with 3" down and 4" straight and they were saying it would be about 600 so thats when i posted on here looking for a cheaper fix do i need to get the mufler delete or does that just make it sound better

Crumm had good advice...... BUT if it was ME, If yer already payin about 200 for the downpipe and delete stuff, yer only a hundred away from an entire new exhaust.

I would reccomend an entire new exhaust because if you ever wanna git one later, you will have wasted money, because you will have already bought the dp. Besides a new exhaust sounds and looks cool


You should be able to get a good Aluminized 4" Turbo back for $400. I have alot of experience w/ the diamond eye brand kits, and they are excellent quality, plus install is great. But be forwarned that any downpipe install on our trucks will make you do the infamous firewall "massage"

However.... Yer young like me. I'll bet you like the idea of cool sounding exhaust. 5" on our trucks sounds sweet.... Ive never done any business w/ these people, but there is an add in diesel power for a 5" exhaust system for only 369 and their website said free shipping on a bunch of stuff.

Get the down pipe and cat pipe, and have the muffler shop drop the muffler for you or get the AFE turbo back system we have that has a 3.0 down pipe and a 4 inch system size at less than $300.00 it's a great system for a deal of a price. for a little more you can also get a muffler delete like the one you listed that'll fit the AFE system for a straight pipe if you want to. Straight pipe won't perform any better than a muffler system so long as it is a straight thru muffler anyway like all the systems we sell. If you have any questions let us know.
