If diesel goes any higher I will be able to make more money at home making bio-diesel and selling it to myself than working 40hrs. I am think of a motorcycle "Monster"mod for the X. I pull up behind it, press the remote button, the rear door open and I pull the Harley out of the X and drive it to work. And save the X for play!

i suspect your x wont sell very fast...between people bein' afraid
of 3dollar per gallon fuel prices...the dealers are doin' their part
to DISCOUNT the hell outta the trucks too.

if you dont already own the motorcycle...consider how much fuel
can be purchased for the price of a motorcycle (dont forget to
factor in the insurance, rain gear, tires & oil changes)

the best mpg motorcycle i own (i have a few) gets 50mpg
when i treat the throttle politely...but it only carries myself
an one other so the total mpg could be considered to be
100mpg (2people time 50mpg)...

our crew cab carries up to SIX folks @ 18mpg (108mpg total)
and i still have room for 16k lbs of gear (trailer etc)

Thanks for the Insight Bushpilot, that is a good point. I am in a temporary living situation during purchasing a house where I have to drive 60miles each way from Cedar Creek Lake and then pay $4 to park each day in downtown Dallas. I hope to get into a house before I NEED a motorcycle but would still like to have the option .

Bartman, I have the running boards in storage right now. But we can talk. I cleaned out my PM's so send a message. Of course you can always come and help us unload, I mean look for the running boards .

Hell I sold my Aprilia, a Jetta , and my Duramax to get my X.Of course I get me some free Jet-A from work, helps out the fuel bill greatly.
