Along with the radiator flush next week I have to buy new tires. Trying to reduce my expense I visited with a local store and he mentioned an AT brand called Capitol that he said is made by Bridgestone. I have searched online and only found scant reference to it. Anyone know anything about it?

I currently have 285/75/16 BFGs but they are about $800 mounted. I love the tire but would like to find something a little less expensive.

:thanks IA

I have these and I love them. $118 each should be able to get them mounted and balanced for about $10-15 per wheel, $10 around here.

I'll check those out Budro, thanks. How many miles do you have on them? The first couple of reviews were bad but sounded like they didnt have them properly aligned or inflated by their wear descriptions. Have you had them in mud?

Robert, your tires come up locally at 185 each. Ouch. I'll ask though.

You should get plenty of miles if you keep them rotated. I made the mistake of rotating only every 7500 for the first few times and that was too long. Currently I have 45000 on my BFGs and could have had more but for a bad alignment. Walmart made me sign an acknowledgment of excessive tire wear when I got my oil changed!

Just called a local shop and the geolanders they will get me out the door for $650. Im leaning that direction. (that sure could have bought some nice mods though darn it.)

I have maybe 12Kish on them. No I haven't been mudding in my 2wd but do park in muddy grass parking lots on occasion, and couldn't tell the difference between the pavement and mud/grass. My dad also ran a set of them for about 15-20K until he upgraded wheel and tire size and he liked them alot.
