Ever have a starter fall off?

Started my truck last night to leave work and heard a loud rattle and bumping sound under the truck. When I got home and checked things out, I found the starter was about to fall off. One bolt was missing and the other one was almost completely out. Don't know what caused them to suddenly loosen and fall out. Just thought I'd share with everyone how my weekend started.

We had a 94 Chevy with a 350 that did it twice. Sheared the bolts. Put in grade 8's the second time around, not regular starter bolts. Never did it again, always started fine, so I don't think it was some interference issue.

Chevy gasser was the only thing I ever had it happen on...

Yeah, the remaining original bolt was a grade 8.8 I put in some grade 10.9 I had laying around. Hopefully that does the trick. So far, so good.

Just be sure to use anti-seize on the bolts, otherwise you'll never get them out again if they do break off.
