engine shuts off

I am wondering if anyone has encountered this problem. My van will just shut off sometimes when I take my foot off the accelerator pedal does'nt matter if im going fast or slow. Then it will start right back up when I turn the key to the starting position.

Sounds like yer CPS is going bad.

I've changed out the cps about 6 months ago. are there any better quality cps' out there. I thought it might be the switch on the pedal

It sounds like CPS to me also. They are cheap now so trying another won't be too bad (and you'll have another spare if that's not it). If the switch (IVS) on the pedal is bad, the truck shouldn't shut off, it will just remain at idle all the time. Cheers!

still cuts out

I have replaced my cps with a new one from international took it for a little ride and BAM it cut out on me again ??????!!!!! No cel just died and started right back up. It happend twice the second I was in park and reved the engine and when I took my foot off the pedal BAM IT DID IT AGAIN can any one think of anything i can check . This is gettin on my nerves. I dont want to cause any accidents! The funny thing is it was fine the rest of the day.
