I really wish this was being asked about my beloved F350 that I miss terribly, but unfortunately it is not.

I bought a 1997 Chevy Supercab from my BIL. It is a good truck and I am thankful to have it. Only paid 2K for it.

Last night, I went to turn the lights on and the cluster lights and the running lights just went off. I still have turn/brake and headlights. It has DTR lights BTW.

I checked all of the relays/fuses and those are all fine.

I have no idea what to look for on this truck. If it was my old F350, I could chase it down in probably a few minutes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, sorry I'm not on here or post as much as I use to. It's just hard seeing what everyone else is doing with their rides and me not having mine anymore.

I love all you guys and thanks for all the friends I have made over the last 4 years.

I would go with the headlight switch. I can feel your pain, Bama. Don't be a stranger.

And you would be correct JL. I went to the local Chevy dealer and was gonna have them check it out. I was at a loss and had no other ideas.

Well, I went down there and they were covered up. So I was telling the service advisor what I was dealing with. I told him I checked the relay/fuse box under the hood. So he ask me, "what about the one in the dash?"

I was like, I looked all up in under the dash and couldn't find anything.

Well, apparently it had another one the side of the dash. When you open the door, there it was  I felt stupid, but hey, I was use to the Ford with their one big huge fuse box right under the steering column.

So I just found the parking lamp fuse and sure nuff, it was blown. Don't know what tripped it, but at least I am not out any money and there was an extra fuse in the truck. So now it is all good.
