I found some beefy looking shackles on E-bay that are made from 3/8" steel and are supposed to give ~1.5" lift and I was wondering if you guys have seen/used these before? I was planning on seeing what kind of lift these will give me before I attempt to supplement the springs with add-a-leafs. With 1.5" lift, do I need to worry about track bar angle or pitman arm or is that only with 4+ inches of lift?
Thanks,
Jesse

I run the pro-comp 2" shackle/hanger kit along with an 8" suspension lift and have had zero problems with them. Pro-comp sells a kit for the 99-04's that comes with the shackles, hangers, trac bar bracket, and longer front shocks. I believe it is around 3 or $400.

The stock pitman arm is good to about 3" of lift. After lifting it you will need to center your steering by adjusting the drag link. Cheers!

Yeah, I figured about the steering wheel. So I will need a track bar relocator with 1.5" of lift?

Most add-a-leafs, replacement 2" lift front leafs, and procomp shackle kits come with a trac bar lowering bracket so I would use one.
