I have a 99.5 super duty 7.3 PSD with 88,000 miles on it. for the last 2 weeks it has been hard to start. changed oil, oil filter, air filter, and fuel filter 2 months ago. HPOP is full of oil don't see any leaks on HPOP oil lines. scanned truck and it is showing codes "P1670 EF Feedback Signal Not Detected" and
"P1318 Injector Timing Piston Position Sensor Circuit" could these be the source of my hard start problem? How do I troubleshoot these codes to determine what the problem is.

Thank You,
Chris

the second one appears to be a CPS related and that could cause starting problems.

BJS, is the "P1318 Injector Timing Piston Position Sensor Circuit" something that is related to or controlled by the CPS?

You all can find the ERROR Codes in the WIKI section, on the top BLUE LINE above. Check it out.

I know what the codes are as shown in my original post. I am asking for information on what parts I need to check and how to check them to solve my problem. As for the site wiki I get an error message when trying to load the page.

Thank You both for taking the time to answer,

Chris
