dripping grease

i noticed some grease that was dripping out of one of my front tie rod boots. is this normal? it wasnt runny, looked like it was squeezed out. maybe because its heating up?:dunno

Someone probably Over greased it.. split the boot. Just keep an eye on it.. keep it greased on a regular basis.. yul be okay

I give mine 1 shot, every other oil change, for daily driving.. or, every 2-3K when on a long Road Trip..

160K.... still on the OE ones. Good Shape. 2 WD though. :dunno

You won't ever get the tie rod ends hot. At least not if they are free. They don't move fast enough to heat up.

Them boots are on there to keep the dirt.. Out... not necessarily, the grease In.

Back in the day.. you wiped off the old, dirty grease with a Solvent soaked rag, then you pumped grease In 'til you saw fresh grease.. and you were Good to Go. :lmao:lmao
