DP Tuner ordered today!!!

I finally ordered my DP tuner today 80 Tow, 80 Econo, 100 Perf, 120 Race, 140Extreme. I think Ill stay away from the 120 and 140 settings until I have money for a new tranny and tq converter. (just to be safe) Anyone damaged the rigs from useing these tunes. Any suggestions for beefing up the old girl before tran and tq conv. replacement.

I see you are a small business owner in Raleigh. What do you do? I am up here in Wake Forest and thought I would say hello to a fellow PS owner.

We have 2 powerstrokes, mine is a '96 F-250 with the 7.3L and my wife drives a 2005 Excursion with the 6.0L in it! Wait a minute, how did she get the newer truck!?!?!

Wouldn't in terms beef up but you could install sonnax and tricumulator spring kits into the transmission valve body. Also changing the trans filter and doing a flush of the old fluid will help freshen it up some.

You'll get firmer shifts with the kits and possibly extend the life of the trans till you're ready for a BTS or similar.

6Lmonster I own a powerwashing company in Raleigh. The drought has made things real fun for business. I know alot of guys have gone under because of poor growth management in our area. We are still working but are having to truck water in and that eats up some diesel!
