DP Tuner high idle

I've noticed when I use my high idle it makes a horrible hissing noise after I fire it up. I have the 1200 rpm w/ebpv high idle option. Does anybody else have the same thing happen?

Could be the EBPV is closed, and the fan clutch is operating.. or a combination of both ??

that hissing is the ebpv closing. completely normal. if you dont want it to close, then you can have jody reflash your chip so that it stays open

Or just disconnect the ebpv wiring connector, and it will still idle up but not hiss? Not to sure about the up idle option as I don't have it. But mine does'nt hiss anymore, where it used to automaticly. Just a thought, it's easy as heck and cheap as can be!

1200 rpm w/ebpv high idle option.

This is the cause.

You selected the 1200 RPM high idle with signal to close the EBPV which will help load the engine to warm it up faster.

Just be sure you don't drive with this setting
