Does anybody have any info, experience or feedback on the Dominator 66 turbo from Beans?

His site says it'll drop right into an early 99 without having to changeout all the up-pipes and pedestal. (Supposedly, it is also available in configurations for OBS trucks, ) Does it still have the EBPV and what is the A/R of the T-housing?

It is claimed to outflow a stock early 99 turbo by 30% and even out perform a Hypermax H2E by 100cfm. It looks like a very intriguing option for those of us early 99 guys who thought the only option for a better turbo was to change everything to the 99.5 stuff.

Sorry not heard of it but that would be sweet! I hate the limitations you have with the early 99's but oh well..... So it just bolts right in? Pricing?:thumbs

From my conversation with Ryan over the phone.

It's great for stage 1's and 2's. Keeps the EBPV because it uses stock exhaust housing on the OBS and a 1.0A/R wastegated housing on the early 99's. Late 99 version is also available if you ask him about it.

As for the flow, it's reported to clean up 2's nicely.

One thing I'd like to see is boost to backpressure ratios for say around 27-30psi boost. But nobody has seemed to do that testing yet, at least not posted it.

Speaking Bean's

I viewed the page posted above - What would be the better option for an upgrade - the ATS Ported Housing or the BDP 1.0 kit?

Thanks...

on my OBS with my stock turbo and ex housing ratio's were pretty much always one to one. with stock turbo and ats .95 wastegated ex housing it was 7psi boost to 10psi back pressure, at 25psi it was 27-30psi back pressure. with the dominator and .95 ats wastegated housing the ratios seem to be the same. I haven't put my stock housing back on yet but i'm assuming I'll be back to 1to 1.
