Hi to all and especially those that have done the DIY exhaust brake mod.

I have wired the DIY exhaust brake in my truck and can't get it to work. I followed the instructions in the DIY forum to the letter but I have a question for those who have knowledge of the factory wiring. The instructions indicated that two factory wires go to the connector on the EPR, one of which should be tapped for the brake. The wire colors given in the instructions are black w/grey and grey w/red. The instructions call for the tie in to be to the grey w/red. On my truck the black w/grey doesn't exist, in its place is a red w/yellow. I can't find a good wiring diagram to tell me which I should tie into. I did tie into the grey w/red as per the instructions but no function of the brake. It also set a SES light.

I do have power at the point where I tapped into the grey W/red wire so all installed switches and wiring works properly to the tie in point. I am curious if the proper wire to tap is really the red w/yellow. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

PS The truck is a California version, if that matters.
