Heads up guys!

The refinery that I get B100 from doesn't have all it's permits yet to sell the fuel they are making so they are stock piling that for now and purchasing from a Dallas distribution center that's not drying the fuel properly.

They got a tank load Friday afternoon. Saturday filled their mobile tank to fill me up. They had ALOT of water in the bottom of the tanker and I got about 15 gallons of. They dropped my tank and blew out lines for me!:sweet They really took care of me and I left with more Bio than I paid for. Plus they are reimbursing me for any filters I need to change. I'll be glad when they can sell their fuel since they aren't using water, they use magna-sol(sp?).

They believe they got tank bottoms and didn't get all the fuel they paid for. They aren't purchasing anymore from there.

There is one vendor in the SF Bay Area who is selling B-20 & B-100 that is not completely washed. There is some glycerin in his product. Many locals are boycotting him until he gets his product up to ASTM standards, which allows ZERO residue or byproducts.

Personally, I would not buy from your vendor knowing that it has not been dried properly. Besides visible water at the bottom, I'm sure there is still some water in his product.

I’m not that up on the refining process so could you explain to me how their product will have water in it? The closest any water gets to the fuel they make is the water that he drinks. They are using virgin soy bean oil and do not wash it with water. They use a chemical. So where would the water in their product come from? The samples that were tested last week had the lab goo-goo and gah gahing over how good it is. In fact #2 clouded before their bio did. I saw the lab report. It's above ASTM standards.

The load that I got the water from was purchased from the dist. center as finished 100% biodiesel. It is not supposed to need drying. So how can I blame the vendor for that? They didn’t get all the fuel they purchased and are pretty upset. The only thing I can blame on them was not checking what was coming out of the tanker before putting it in their tote. I also blame myself for not putting it in a jar prior to pumping in the tank.

Robert,

I hope you get in on that deal now!
