Guys and Gals,
I've got to be honest with you, I have carried this charade on long enough now. I can no longer come here in good faith while keeping this stuff all bottled up inside me. Its time to come clean.
As you know I have had my PSD for about 2.5 years now, have done all the dime store mods to it, fooled around with probably more stuff than a grown man should be allowed to . The tranny has been Richterized , the injectors have been Beaned and now............... now.................. now the brain as been put under the influence of twildman . Thats right guys. Its been chipped and now I gotta confess, it was like getting in bed with a mistress. I fell in love all over again. Beans injectors were (are still) a huge improvement over stock, even last year through the sumer camping months with a silly SCMT providing the tunes I was flabberghasted at how well it pulled. But after the addition of the new programming yesterday I gotta say that I totally fell back into love with the old girl again. Hats off to Bean and guys like Tony that make these trucks run!
Funny thing, after I got done fooling around with the truck yesterday morning my dealer called (no, not drug dealer! ) to do a one year 'touch base' call as its been a year since we bought the Expedition, in our conversation he asked me if I was still searching for a pick-up. Then I remembered at the time we bought the Ex I had told him to keep his eyes peeled for a clean low mileage PSD for me. Man o man did this poor sap pick the wrong day to callropeller . One year ago my truck was still stock-mad except for the dime store stuff, DIY intake,10K mod and SCMT. Since then the real mods have come on. I told the guy in no uncertain terms that I would be driving the 95 for several more years now. The wife was at work when I took the call but I was telling her about it last night, told her that I would drive the 95 for a good amount of time yet and she said... oh, I doubt it.... I said "no, really" I have no desire for a new(er) truck. This old girl is giving me just what I want for now, save for the creature comforts of a SD, my OBS suits my fancy just fine.
Thanks for listening folks, I feel so much better with that off my chest. You guys are like therapy. And no hheynow, dont bill me for your time.
